Northern Red Oak
Large, deciduous tree with an upright, oval habit in youth, changing to more rounded and spreading with age. Dark green, deeply incised leaves turn brick red in the fall. Abundant acorns mature over a two year period and are very attractive to wildlife, such as birds and squirrels. Great choice for a large, shade-providing tree for big yards or parks. Prefers moist, well-drained soils, but does well in poor soils, dry soils, or varying pH soils.

Grow Low Fragrant Sumac
A low, wide spreading, deciduous shrub or ground cover. Leaves and twigs are aromatic when crushed, hence the species name. Small yellow flowers arrive in early spring before the foliage appears. Fall color is a striking combination of bright red and orange. Although the leaves do resemble another member of its family, poison ivy, the fragrant sumac is non-poisonous. Great choice for stabilizing banks as a groundcover, areas with poor soils, or for anywhere where a splash of fantastic fall color is needed!

Tiger Eyes (Bailtiger PPAF) Staghorn Sumac
Deciduous shrub to small tree that will have an upright, rounded habit at maturity. Lacy foliage is the real stunner on this one! New leaves emerge chartreuse, turning to yellow, then to brilliant orange in the fall. Adding to its unique appearance are reddish stems and then greenish yellow flowers in the summer. Red bunches of fruits follow the flowers and persist into the winter until the birds eat them. This is a dwarf form of the regular sumac and will not be as invasive, but may send up some shoots away from the main plant. Does very well in clay soil and will be drought tolerant once established. Great for an impact plant in a small garden area!
