Wingthorn Rose (white)
Deciduous shrub with single, white, fragrant flowers in April to May. These are followed by bright red rose hips in the fall. Beautiful, fern-like foliage is accented by very large, bright red thorns. Prickles are intimidating at first glance, but are strikingly appealing. These later fade to a darker brown color. Plant can be left unpruned to enjoy its natural vase-shaped habit, or can be pruned to shape, although it may lead to less lovely prickles.
