Mardee: Manager
Mardee comes from a family of nurserymen. Destined to become one herself, she graduated from Oregon State University with her degree in Horticulture. She established her own small nursery in 1980, and still continues with that venture. Her friendly attitude and vast plant knowledge make her an asset to our nursery. Mardee takes care of employees and customers here at Garden World on a daily basis, as well as overseeing operations of the nursery.

Desiree: Manager
Desiree is a horticulturist with her degree in Horticulture and Botany from Oregon State University. She does the ordering and inventory, as well as other office and operational duties. She is also available to help customers out in the field or to ring up a purchase. Please let her know if you have a plant question or a special request!

Lisa: Marketing & Events Coordinator, Customer Service
Lisa graduated from Delaware Valley College with her degree in Ornamental Horticulture and Environmental Design. Pursuing her ongoing interest in artistic endeavors and gardening, she creates informative displays and advertisements for the nursery, as well as promotes a positive relationship between Garden World and the community it serves. Aside from these projects, she’s always happy to help customers with any inquiries!

Rich: Sales & Service
Rich is one of our knowledgeable horticulturalists with extensive experience in his field. He graduated with a B.S. in Ornamental Horticulture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He began his work as a landscape construction supervisor, then continued on to work as an EPA investigator of Oregon for over 16 years. He’s also been employed as a horticulturalist for the state agricultural department, and a plant quarantine officer for the USDA. As part of his amiable nature, Rich is always happy to share his plant experience and knowledge to help customers find exactly what they need and give information on how to take care of the plants.

Antonio: Field Operations
Antonio is always busy pulling orders, stocking plants, or loading customers. He also takes care of a lot of pruning, fertilizing, and general plant up keep projects. He's always ready to help his fellow employees with any project with a smile. Luckily for some of our customers, he also has a special knack for loading big trees into small vehicles!
